Welcome to ArthritisLink!

This site was initially created in 2004 in memory of our mother and grandmother Barbara Herold (pictured), who bravely endured rheumatoid arthritis for 25 years before her death. The site is currently undergoing a remake, so bear with us as we expand and update the site over the coming months.

Barbara's grandson Daniel will participate in the 2012 Arthritis Walk in D.C. on May 19th. His team, Barbara's Herolds, hopes to collect at least $1,000 towards arthritis research and treatment. All money raised goes directly to the Arthritis Foundation.

The purpose of this website is twofold. It serves to memorialize Barbara Herold for those that knew her and to honor her leife by raising awareness of arthritis, partiularly rheumatoid arthritis. This site contains information and external links for those wondering about the extent and nature of arthritis in its many forms. It also includes links to several other arthritis-related charities for those wishing to make a difference in the fight to ease the pain of millions of modern-day arthritis sufferers.
